Isnaad is a Somali development finance and advisory firm, founded in Mogadishu in 2026, licensed for Development Finance, and built to make every shilling accountable.
Somalia's recovery depends on capital and capability reaching the institutions that can use them, between donors and communities, investors and enterprises, government and the people it serves. What has been missing is a local partner who can move both, and account for every step.
Isnaad exists to be that partner.
Isnaad Enterprises Limited is a Somali-owned development finance and advisory firm, licensed for Development Finance by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. We structure and deploy capital, manage donor funds, and provide the technical assistance that turns programmes into results, with ethical, interest-free instruments that connect Gulf capital to Somali development.
What sets us apart is that we own our delivery. Through Zeekash, our payments company, funds move on accountable digital rails, so every disbursement is traceable and every programme is auditable by design. That is what a chain of trust means in development finance: not a slogan, but infrastructure.
Our founder brings over a decade of experience across regulated financial services in Kenya, Uganda, and Djibouti, insurance, microfinance, and payments, now brought home to build Somalia's development finance capability.
The name
إسناد
Isnaad is the chain of transmission by which a report is authenticated: each link known, each link accountable, the whole chain trusted because every part of it can be verified. It is the oldest system of verified trust in our civilisation.
Isnaad applies that principle to development: finance and expertise delivered with accountable ownership, and every shilling traceable to a verifiable result.
